An option of displaying the sector border lines would be brilliant!

he probably meant the 8 sectors the map is divided into (N NE E SE S SW W NW)

that actually is a great suggestion - i would like to see this as well (if drawing diagonal lines like in a pie chart works on html - maybe with CSS3?).
